2. Delivery times
We ship from different locations depending on your delivery address.
All delivery time frames shown in the table above begin from the date your order is dispatched.
When your parcel has been sent, you will receive an email titled “Your order is now complete”, which includes a tracking number when available.
If we experience an exceptional delay in dispatching your order (for example, an item being temporarily out of stock or reduced staffing in our logistics team), we will contact you by email to let you know.
Your order may be dispatched with a delay if:
- We require additional information from you, such as a personal identification number requested by customs in certain countries (including Italy, Spain, Norway and India).
- The shipping address or contact details provided are incorrect or incomplete.
- An item in your order is temporarily out of stock.
3. Delivery types and taxes by region
United Kingdom
- Deliveries may be untracked for small and medium parcels, and tracked for larger parcels.
Europe and USA
- All parcels are tracked.
- Prices at checkout include the correct VAT rate for your country.
- All taxes and duties are pre-paid for countries within the European Customs Union, so there are no additional charges on delivery.
- Destinations in Europe that are not part of the European Customs Union (such as Switzerland, Norway and Iceland) may require customs duties, which are payable by the recipient.
- For Made to Order fragrances shipped from the UK: Customs checks in some European regions may cause occasional delays.
Rest of the World
- All parcels are tracked.
- Orders may be subject to local customs duties or import taxes, which are not included in our shipping rates and must be paid by the customer at delivery.
- For customs purposes, we only declare the value of the physical items in your order (shipping fees and digital content are not included in the declaration).
- Some international destinations may experience customs-related delays.
International Restrictions
We are unable to ship to certain countries. You can check availability in the table above or by entering your address at checkout.
4. Your Returns rights
For most Products bought online (except for workshops and experiences) you have a legal right to change your mind within 28 days and receive a refund once the product has been returned unopened and unused.
Geographical limitations may apply to allow returns (please refer to the next section).
You do not have a right to change your mind / or cancellation in respect of:
(a) Products that are made to your specification or are personalised for you (ie: Reordering your personalised blend, creations made to you specifically);
(b) digital Products after you have started to download or stream these;
(c) services such as the experiences, once these have been completed or the date of the booked experience has passed, even if the cancellation period is still running;
(d) Products sealed for health protection or hygiene purposes, once these have been unsealed after you receive them;
(e) sealed audio or sealed video recordings or sealed computer software, once these Products are unsealed after you receive them; and
(f) any Products which become mixed inseparably with other items, used or damaged by you after their deliver.
5. Return eligibility & conditions
United Kingdom
To return eligible products from the UK:
- Email contact@experimentalperfumeclub.com to request your prepaid return label.
- Complete the returns form provided in the email.
- Place the unused items (with tamper seals fully intact) and the completed form inside the original packaging.
- Attach the return label to the outside of the parcel.
- Drop your parcel at any Royal Mail or DPD Pickup location and keep your proof of return.

United States of America (Returns at the Customer’s Expense)
Returns from the USA are possible, but perfume products must be shipped following specific regulations. Please read the instructions below carefully.
- Contact us at contact@experimentalperfumeclub.com before returning any items so we can advise you on the correct procedure for fragrance shipping.
- Use a ground shipping service only. Perfume products cannot travel by air due to flammability regulations.
- Pack your unused items securely in their original packaging, ensuring all tamper seals are intact.

- Once received, your items will be inspected.
Refunds cannot be issued for opened or used goods.
Refunds are processed within 14 days of receipt, or up to 30 working days during busy periods.
Europe (Returns at the Customer’s Expense)
Before returning any perfume product, please note that international returns of fragrances must follow strict regulations. Please read the steps below carefully.
- Contact us first at contact@experimentalperfumeclub.com for guidance. Perfume returns require specific labels and we cannot be responsible for returns arranged without following our instructions.
- Use your national postal service and select BY ROAD (often called Economy) shipping only.
Do not send perfume by air.
If requested, declare the parcel as a returned product with a nominal value of 1 euro.
- Send the parcel to the return address relevant to your region (see section 1 above).
- Email us your tracking number so we can monitor your return.
- We strongly recommend using the original shipping packaging, as perfume shipments require specific labels to remain visible. Parcels not packed in this way may be held or destroyed by postal services and would therefore be non-refundable.
Returns may take several working days to reach us. Once received, all items will be inspected.
We cannot offer refunds for any opened or used items.
Refunds are processed within 14 days of receipt. During busy periods, processing may take up to 30 working days.
Rest of the World (outside UK, USA and EU)
Returns are not possible due to strict international air transport regulations surrounding perfume (classified as a flammable product).
6. Delays outside our control (ie: customs formalities)
If the delivery of your order is delayed by an event outside our control, we will do our best to support you and help minimise any inconvenience.
Please note that delays caused by customs authorities are outside our responsibility.
Customs operate independently from couriers and retailers, and they are not required to honour estimated delivery dates. While couriers provide an estimated delivery window, customs clearance can extend this timeline without notice.
For international orders, we allow a period of up to 60 days (8 weeks) from dispatch for your parcel to be delivered before we can process a cancellation, refund or replacement.
Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been dispatched and are still in transit. Any refund, cancellation or replacement can only be issued after the parcel has been returned to us.
