Meet your perfumer mentors
Emmanuelle Moeglin
EPC Founder & Perfumer
Emmanuelle is the visionary founder of Experimental Perfume Club and creator of the celebrated Layers fragrance line. A classically trained “nose” with over 12 years’ experience in the fragrance industry, she began her journey at ISIPCA in France, mastering the science and artistry of scent creation. Em subsequently travelled the globe, collaborating with industry luminaries and serving as a Fragrance Designer for L’Oréal and Puig in Paris, Barcelona and New York. Experimental Perfume Club was born from her desire to demystify perfumery and open the creative process to all.
Tom Jansen
Guest instructor, Perfumer & Entrepreneur
Tom’s love for fragrance emerged in childhood and blossomed into professional expertise at the Grasse Institute of Perfumery, where he trained in classic perfume techniques. Following his studies, he spent seven years as an entrepreneur in Canada’s luxury candle sector, honing his skills in scent composition and product development. Today, Tom leads his own perfumery business in Canada and brings his wealth of practical know-how to the EPC course, guiding students through each stage of fragrance formulation with enthusiasm and precision.
Camille Latron
Guest instructor, Independent Perfumer & Consultant
Camille is an independent perfumer and fragrance consultant based in France, with more than 15 years of international experience. Also a graduate of ISIPCA, she refined her craft at leading perfume houses before joining the Puig Group, where she developed scents for renowned global brands. Camille’s expertise spans every facet of creation - from accord building to regulatory compliance - making her an invaluable mentor for students keen to understand both the artistry and the commercial realities of the perfume industry.
Have Questions?
Get in touchDo you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship worldwide. See our Delivery & return page.
Please note that for customs purpose, we only declare the value of the equipment and kit, and not of the entire course price, so you will not have to pay a high custom fee.
Do I receive materials to take the course?
Yes - all materials and tools are included with your enrolment. You'll receive the Perfumer’s Organ Kit, a comprehensive 15kg box containing a curated selection of raw materials, professional blending tools, and the EPC Formula Handbook - everything you need to study and practise at home.
I already have experience or have taken other courses – can I skip part of the course?
Our course is designed to offer a comprehensive foundation as well as advanced insights, so even experienced participants often find great value in the full journey. While you’re free to move at your own pace and revisit sections as needed, the content is structured to build progressively – we recommend following the full course to get the most out of it.
Do you offer the course without the ingredient kits?
No – the course is designed to be taken with the ingredient kits, which are essential for the practical exercises and for experiencing the materials first-hand. They’re a key part of the learning process and ensure you get the full value from the course.
I haven't received my kit yet
We send all the materials necessary for this course shortly after you place your order. For international shipping, we advise to leave up to 2 weeks to arrive at your home.
To ensure the organ are fresh, we prepare them in small batch. It we are out of stock at the time of your order, we will notify you and your order will be in backorder until restocked.
Can I start the course at any time?
Yes. The course is fully online and available on demand - you can begin whenever it suits you and study at your own pace.
How long does it take to complete the course?
This depends entirely on your pace. On average, the Foundation Course takes 1.5 to 6 months, while the Full Programme may take 3 to 12 months to complete. You’ll have access for one full year and can learn on your own schedule.
How long the course is available for?
You’ll have access for one year from the date of enrolment. If more time is needed, yearly subscription extension can be arranged.
Will I have access to an instructor?
No. The course is designed to be self-explanatory and is very detailed so that you should not need access to an instructor as you go through it.
Individual feedback or support is not included. While our team is available for technical support, learning support is facilitated through the Student Community Group, where you can ask questions, share experiences, and engage with peers.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes. Upon completing the course, you'll receive a digital EPC Certificate of Achievement.
Will I become a perfumer after completing the course?
No - this course is a foundation, not professional qualification. Real perfumers train for at least a year and gain years of industry experience. However, this programme gives you the essential skills and knowledge to start your perfumery journey. With dedication and practice, you can work towards becoming a perfumer over time.
Can I start my own perfume business after the course?
This course teaches the craft of perfumery -ingredients and formulation - not how to launch or run a perfume business. You’ll gain a solid foundation, but you’ll need professional advice on manufacturing, regulations, supply chains, legal requirements, marketing and packaging before going commercial. We recommend completing all three chapters, then consulting experienced industry partners in your country. Our course is for private use only; we do not provide business or commercial-launch guidance.
Can I get a refund?
We hope you’ll love the course so much that you will not want a refund! But if you do, unfortunately we regret to let you know our online courses are non-refundable!
