Peel a bergamot in a cool, dark room. The zest sprays bright and bittersweet, then catches the smell of incense smoke hanging in the air.
This is bergamot followed into the shadows. Its spicy, herbaceous, woody facets sparkle up top, generously dosed, before warm frankincense and iris absolute curl up from underneath and pull it East. It opens luminous and zesty, then slowly turns resinous and soft, the citrus glowing on against the smoke.

A white room, morning light.
A white room full of morning light, windows open. A stick of incense burning unseen, its smoke thin and cool on the breeze before the sun reaches in.
Sparkling bergamot lifts the first breath, bright and zesty, threaded with incense that feels more like light than smoke, cool and airy. Powdery iris and a touch of ambroxan glow underneath, and as the sun warms the room, the smoke turns plush and velvety, holding close on the skin.

Skin against skin in a warm, dark room. Resin, vanilla, a trace of the animal underneath. The kind of warmth you feel before you can name it.
A classic amber pushed to its fullest: vanilla, frankincense, myrrh and labdanum built into a deep, resinous heart. Ambrette seed and iris absolute lend an earthy softness, while animalic Ambroxan and patchouli give it a carnal edge, close and powerful, warming and deepening over hours rather than fading.

Ingredients
Bergamot Incense brings out all the facets of this radiant citrus fruit with spicy and woody contrasting ingredients. The warmth of olibanum bolsters the smokiness of frankincense oil. Juniper berry plays to its bright, zingy nature, with a tingle to the nose. Tea notes and iris absolute calm and soothe. A scent created to be soft and vibrant, cool and warm, sunlit and shadowy.

Essentials are designed to be blended between categories—always mix from Fresh (Yellow), Mellow (Pink), or Deep (Blue). You can experiment at home with a Creation Set, visit our boutique for an Experience, or explore blending with a Discovery Set.
What’s the meaning behind the Essential Collection colours?
In the Essential Collection, each colour represents a scent category designed to guide your fragrance experience:Yellow = Fresh, Pink = Mellow, Blue = Deep. You can enjoy each scent on its own, or blend across categories to create a more personalised and balanced fragrance — for example, adding depth to a fresh scent, or softness to something bold.
What is the difference between Essentials and Blends?
Essentials are structured, minimalist eau de parfum designed for blending, while Blends are pre-composed, layered fragrances created by blending multiple Essentials. The choice depends on your preference for a clean and minimalist scent or amore complex, layered perfume.
Are the Essentials long-lasting?
Yes, each Essential follows a structured formula made to last and are fully-fledged original perfumes. Base note Essentials (Blue label) have the most longevity, while Top notes (Yellow label) are fresher, gradually transitioning into the deeper notes.
Can I blend Essentials with the Blends?
We don’t recommend blending Essentials with Blends, as the Blends have already been composed for the best olfactory result. Further blending may distort their balance. However, you can explore different styles through our Discovery Set, which includes all categories to help you find your perfect match.
