Then the roses arrive. Not shy garden roses, but Moroccan Rose Absolute, so rich and jammy it almost drips, generously overdosed at the heart. Rhubarb and blackcurrant leaf cut through the sweetness, peony lends its dewy transparency, and the flower opens tart, juicy, almost wicked. It wears bright and a little unruly, softening on the skin, rounder and warmer.

Soleil d'Hiver
A rose in the frost.
A rose blooming in the cold, its petals stiffened with frost, pale winter sun and no heat in it.
Cardamom and pink peppercorn open icy and crisp, a frosted breeze around a heart of Moroccan rose, cooled and held in check by oolong tea. Sandalwood, leather and tobacco glow faintly underneath, not warmth so much as the memory of it, a low ember under deep snow.

Smooth Indian sandalwood, rich and generously dosed, is lit by a spark of pink peppercorn and threaded with smoky vetiver, soft leather and mineral Ambroxan. It melts into your skin and becomes part of it, reading differently on everyone, quietly magnetic, the kind of scent people lean in to place and never quite can.

Ingredients
A bright rose entwined with sharp blackcurrant and sparkling, zingy rhubarb. Soft peonies add dewiness, whilst blackcurrants expose its greenness. Petals, stalks and stems: a nose in a rosebush. Rich, jam-laced Moroccan rose absolute adds depth. A scent that sparks a childlike joy within. Pink to green like rhubarb stalks this is a rose that’s bursting with colour.

Yes! Each Essential is a fully composed fragrance with a minimalist olfactory signature, designed around a few strong ingredients. They can be worn alone or blended with other Essentials to create a personalised scent, following The Art of Blending by EPC concept.

Essentials are designed to be blended between categories—always mix from Fresh (Yellow), Mellow (Pink), or Deep (Blue). You can experiment at home with a Creation Set, visit our boutique for an Experience, or explore blending with a Discovery Set.
What’s the meaning behind the Essential Collection colours?
In the Essential Collection, each colour represents a scent category designed to guide your fragrance experience:Yellow = Fresh, Pink = Mellow, Blue = Deep. You can enjoy each scent on its own, or blend across categories to create a more personalised and balanced fragrance — for example, adding depth to a fresh scent, or softness to something bold.
What is the difference between Essentials and Blends?
Essentials are structured, minimalist eau de parfum designed for blending, while Blends are pre-composed, layered fragrances created by blending multiple Essentials. The choice depends on your preference for a clean and minimalist scent or amore complex, layered perfume.
Are the Essentials long-lasting?
Yes, each Essential follows a structured formula made to last and are fully-fledged original perfumes. Base note Essentials (Blue label) have the most longevity, while Top notes (Yellow label) are fresher, gradually transitioning into the deeper notes.
Can I blend Essentials with the Blends?
We don’t recommend blending Essentials with Blends, as the Blends have already been composed for the best olfactory result. Further blending may distort their balance. However, you can explore different styles through our Discovery Set, which includes all categories to help you find your perfect match.

Fig and pistachio leaves, basil and petitgrain echo the crunch of green grass beneath bare feet. Then the sweetness gives itself away, almonds, sesame, tonka beans and green hazelnuts warming in the sun, yearning to be picked, a creamy drift of summer ice cream rising through the leaves.
