A rich leathery fragrance unashamedly herbaceous, sultry and powerful.

Aromatic wormwood oil gives the scent of Absinth. Cypriol roots bring a powerful earthy, balsamic undertone, bolstered by Virginia and Atlas Cedar, and patchouli. A rich leathery scent that begins fresh, before softening to a sensual woody-tobacco signature.

Crafted in France with a blend of mineral and vegetable wax and enriched with shea butter, offering a luxurious texture and a smooth, even diffusion.

The Perfumer’s Inspiration Behind Cedarwood Absinth

A backstreet Absinthe bar in Paris, a place of scandal; all low-lights, dark leathers and emerald velvets, curls of smoke hanging in the air.

The herbaceous scent rising as water is slowly poured over the Absinthe, drip by drip. Earthy leathers are pierced with spicy saffron: the warmth of the fire beside the armchair in the corner.

Cypriol Nagarmotha swirl together; exotic spices linger over tenaciously dark woods. Cedarwood, Amberwoods and patchouli soften it all to ensure it’s a place you can’t help but want to come back to.

Cedarwood (Virginian & Atlas)

A classic of perfumers, cedarwood oils originate from various conifer trees, each with their own distinctive quality – Virginian, Lebanese, Cyprus, Atlas or Himalayan cedar.

Sweet and tobacco-like, a classic Virginian cedarwood oil evokes the sweet familiar scent of pencil shavings.

Dark and leathery, Atlas Cedarwood carries balsamic and smoky undertones.

This contrasting combination of blond and dark woods is the wonderful quality of cedar – woody, leathery and sweet.

Absinth

Artemisia Absinthium, also known as Wormwood, is a perennial herb traditionally used to flavour the famous drinks of Absinthe and Vermouth.

This rich, green and aromatic ingredient has woody and sweet-liquor qualities, making it one of the most original aromatic notes to use in perfumery.

When I first sprayed Tonka Sesame, it felt like I had entered a bakery in the south of France where I could smell freshly baked cookies covered with a slight hint of marzipan.
